Mary Jones Trogdon Beddenfield

The first European settlements in Maryland were made in 1634 when English settlers created a permanent colony.

Mary Jones Trogdon Beddenfield was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Jones. She was born about 1707 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Her first husband was Thomas Trogdon (Trogden, Throgden, Hogdon). Thomas was born about 1670 and died in 1700/01 in Anne Arundel County at about age 30.

Thomas and Mary had a son, William Trogden who was born August 20, 1695.

Her husband, William, died before 1701 when she remarried.

She married Anthony Beddenfield on February 12, 1701 in Anne Arundel County.

Anne Arundel County, Maryland was established in 1650.
