Walter D. Van Dusen was the son of William Henry Van Dusen and Edith Miller. He was born in 1902 in San Diego, California.

Walter died from tuberculosis on November 17, 1923 in San Francisco, California.


VAN DUSEN-In this city, November 17, 1923. Walter D. Van Dusen, dearly beloved son of Rev. Edith E. Fish and brother of W. M. Van Dusen a native of San Diego, Cal. aged 21 years.

Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 2 p.m. at Martin & Brown's 1514 Scott street near Post. Interment, Cypress Lawn Memorial Park

Tuberculosis (TB) is a common and often deadly infectious disease. It was called consumption. It usually attacks the lungs and the symptoms are coughing blood, fever, night sweats, and weight loss.
