Elizabeth Vincent Wilson

Franklin County, Indiana was formed in 1811 from Dearborn and Clark counties. Brookville is the county seat and was settled in 1804.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Vincent Wilson was born on October 29, 1787 in Virginia. Her parents were Lieutenant John Vincent and Sarah Johnson.

She married Isaac Wilson on December 22, 1814.

Elizabeth died on May 27, 1881.

Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson of Brookville, died Friday morning in the ninety-fourth year of her age. She was a native of Virginia and one of the first settlers of Brookville, having emigrated hither with her parents before Indiana was admitted into the Union.
