Nancy Simpson Jones

 

Nancy Simpson Jones was born in Ohio in 1815. Her parents were Allen Simpson and Nancy Vincent.

In 1880, 65 year old Nancy was living with her sister, Margaret in Allen Polk County, Iowa. She was a widow.

Nancy died in December, 1897 at the age of 83. She was buried at Woodland Cemetery in Des Moines.

Franklin County, Indiana was formed in 1811 from Dearborn and Clark counties. Brookville is the county seat and was settled in 1804.
