Margaret Simpson Crawford was born March 13 1809 in Ohio. Her parents were probably Allen Simpson and Nancy Vincent.

She married Nathan Crawford on November 17, 1831 in Montgomery County, Indiana. Nathan was born on June 22, 1808 in Virginia.

Nathan and Margaret's children included:
Nathan C. Crawford (1830),
Rebecca Ellen Cradford (1837), and
James L. Crawford (1840).

Margaret died on November 21, 1863 in Mahaska County Ohio and Nathan died on December 3, 1863.
