Alfred Simpson was born before 1820 in Ohio. His parents were probably Allen Simpson and Nancy Vincent. When he was a child, he moved to Franklin County, Indiana with his family. He married Eunice Lofland on February 24, 1841 in Montgomery County. Eunice was born in June 1823 in Delaware. Alfred and Eunice's children included: Alfred died on September 23, 1850. After his death, Eunice married Alexander Brown who died in 1859. In 1860 the household was in Clay, Indiana. Eunissa Brown 39 During the Civil War, William and John enlisted in Company B of the Indiana 10th Infantry. William died on February 20, 1862 at Stanford, Kentucky. In 1880, Eunice was a dressmaker in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana and living with Theodocia and Sarah. Eunice died on June 2, 1901 in Crawfordsville.
