Mandel Miriam Swientoslawski

Klodawa is just north of Lodz in the Posnan or Posen province. Before World War I, Poland was a province of the Russian empire. 

The oldest Swientoslawski child was Mandel Miriam Swientoslawski. She was born in Klodawa, Poland. She was the daughter of Moishe Swentoslawski and Pearl Kolsky. She married in Poland and remained there.

Her daughter Toby (Toba) was born on April 1, 1899 in Poland. Toby married a man named Albert Gersh. She went to Isreal (British Mandate) before the war. Their children were Sidney, Henry, and Marvin Gersh. Toby died on February 15, 1967 in Los Angeles, California.

Mandel was murdered in the Holocaust.
