Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts was first settled by English Puritans in 1629 and was first incorporated in 1631 as Saugus.

Henry Collins was born on November 23, 1673 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts. His parents were Joseph and Sarah Collins. He was probably named for his father’s father.

He died May 1, 1735.
