Soak one envelope geletine in 1/2 up cold water five minutes
add 1/2 cup mild vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup sugar
1 tea spoon salt
1 pint boiling water
Let cool
Add - 1 cup choped cabbage
2 cup choped celery
1/2 cup red piento = 1 can
(1 bell pepper or omit pepper.)
mould.
Just in case Aunt Pit didn't include the details of using powdered gelatin, here they are:
Sprinkle gelatin on cold liquid.
Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add warm liquid or heat gently.
Stir until dissolved.
