Peach Ice Cream

  
 

 

  
 

2 qt milk
1 pt. cream
2 packages ice cream powder
6 eggs
1 qt peaches after they are mashed
3 cups sugar
a pinch of salt
35¢ worth of ice

This makes 6 qts & will serve 25 large servings.

Coffee cream has 20% fat.
Whipping cream has 30% fat.
Heavy cream has 36% fat.

 

Aunt Pit assumed we know how to make ice cream. Here are the basics for those of us who forgot:
Stir sugar, cream, and milk in a saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
Chill the mixture.
Then pour into ice cream maker.
