yolks of 4 eggs & whites of 2 Beat the yolks of eggs and sugar till light and thick add the cold water and extract, then flour and baking powder sifted together. As soon as these are mixed smoothly fold in gently the stiffly-beaten whites of eggs and bake in greased layer-cake pans in moderate ove.
