Ham Upside Down Corn Bread |

1 thick slice ham have ham slice cut 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick cut ham in wedge shape pieces and brown on both sides in hot skillet sift flour, B.P. sugar, salt together add the corn meal combine eggs, milk & melted shortening add to dry ingredients and pour over browned ham wedges bake in moderate hot oven (400°) untill ham & corn bread are done about 30 minutes. Serve while very hot with spicy tomatoes sauce.
