1 lb stoned dates
1 lb English walnuts meats
1 cup flour
1/2 sp salt
2 sp baking powder
4 eggs- beat suprra?

tely & add 1 teasp vanilla
1 cup sugar

sift flour over dates & nuts.

bake very slowly about 1/2 hrs.

Aunt Pit often assumes that any idiot knows what to do with the cake ingredients. For those of us who don't: Gather ingredients Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cake pan. Mix wet ingredients in a bowl. Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Pour batter into pan/pans. Bake about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake is dry.
