Dressing for Cabbage Slaw

  
 

 

  
 

1/2 tea cup vinegar
2/3 as much sugar
a little salt and pepper
1/2 tea spoon mustard
2 tea spoons butter

When this is boiling hot
add 1 cup cream & egg - stired together.

Coffee cream has 20% fat.
Whipping cream has 30% fat.
Heavy cream has 36% fat.

 

Aunt Pit wasn't afraid to use raw eggs. If you are worried about salmonella, substitute pasteurized or powdered eggs.
