1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons crisco
2 eggs
1 cup milk
5 cups flour (after sifting)
5 teaspoons B.P. [baking powder] (level)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmet

all measurements level

mix

roll out on board

cut with doughnut cutter or with knife

drop in deep very hot fat.
