    Mary Walton was born about 1705 in Manor of Moreland (now Upper Moreland Township), Philadelphia County (now Montgomery) County, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Thomas Walton and Priscilla Hunn.

    A Mary Walton married Michael Hilton on December 7, 1733 and a Mary Walton married George Geno on January 17, 1742. Both weddings were at the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. The bride in these weddings could be Mary Walton the daughter of Thomas or Mary Corry Walton the widow of Joseph Walton (Byberry Waltons, page 19).
    The Manor of Moreland was composed of a tract of ten thousand acres, and was created, in 1682, by a grant from William Penn to Dr. Nicholas More. Most of the Manor was in Philadelphia County, but is now Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
