An American Family History

Anna Bolen Taylor was born in May, 1783 in Pennsylvania. Her son, John Taylor, listed her name as Bolden in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church records. Ancestral file has her name as Ann Boylyn. Her father may have been Peter Bolin.  

She married David Taylor about 1809 when she was about 26 years old. Their children and life together are described in the section on David and Anna Taylor. According to William Huber, the oral family history was that she gave birth to both a set of twins and a set of triplets in 18 months.

Ann died on September 25, 1823 according to her tombstone inscription at Mud River Cemetery in Clark County, Ohio.
