Jacob LeFevre Family

Mary LeFevre was born about 1816 in Fairfield, Ohio. She was probably a member of the Jacob LaFevre family in Amanda.

Jacob LeFevre was born on March 24, 1766 in Strasburg, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He married Rebecca Pachtel about 1790. Rebecca was born December 4, 1770 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Rebecca died February 3, 1829. Jacob died November 8, 1844. He was buried McPherson Cemetery, Clyde, Sandusky County, Ohio.

David LeFevre was born April 21, 1791. He died September 28, 1843.

Samuel LeFevre was born January 26, 1793. He died February 22, 1888 in Missouri.

Isaac LeFevre was born June 20, 1795. He died March 7, 1798.

Jacob LeFevre was born April 2, 1797. He married Either Catherine Hite Kemp and Lucy M. Davis. He died January 12, 1867.

Margaret LeFevre Kelsey was born January 6, 1799.

Mary LeFevre was born October 5, 1803.

Rebecca L. LeFevre Swope was born October 10, 1805. She married Thomas Swope in 1827. They lived near Amanda . Thomas was born in Huntington, Pennsylvania, on February 19, 1800 He was the son of David and Mary (Cole) Swope. They were both natives of Huntington county, Pennsylvania, where their marriage took place, and then in the year 1802 they, with their respective families, all emigrated to Ohio, locating in Fairfield county. This was in the days of the early history of the state and was before it was admitted as a state to the Union.

John LeFevre was born December 3, 1807. He married Rachel Swope.

Elizabeth LeFevre was born September 3, 1809.

William LeFevre was born February 11, 1812.

Sarah Ann LeFevre was born April 3, 1815.

In 1830 Jacob Lefevre and William Long were both living in Amanda, Fairfield, Ohio.

In 1840 Jacob lived in Violet, Fairfield and William lived in Liberty, Fairfield.
