The ship “Elizabeth” sailed from Ipswich England in April, 1634 with William Andrews, Master. On board were Richard and Ursula Kimball and their children, Ursula’s mother Martha Whatlock Scott and her brothers Roger and Thomas Scott. Humphrey and Bridget Bradstreet sailed on the same ship. They arrived in July at Boston.

Henry Scott and Martha Whatlock married on July 25, 1594 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England.

Thomas Scott was baptized on February 26, 1594.
Ursula Scott Kimball was baptized on February 14, 1597.
Roger Scott was baptized on November 15, 1604

Henry Scott died in December 1624.

The family came to American on the ship Elizabeth in 1634.

Rattlesden is a village in Suffolk in eastern England. St. Nicholas church dates from the 13th century. The village was a center of Puritanism in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Before 1752 the year began on March 25th. Dates between January 1st and March 24th were at the end of the year, not the beginning.

iii Roger Scott, bap. Nov. 15, 1604; m. Sarah Grimwood, Feb. 26, 1627. Five children: Susan, Roger, Sarah, Abigail. John.

1597 14 February Urslaye Scoote the dawghtr of Henry and Martha baptised.
1608 25 of January Thomas Whatlocke a very old man buryed.
1610 14 of ye same (March) Joan Whotlocke ye Relict ofThomas Whotlocke buried. 1615 12 of August Henry Kemball ye sohe of Richard and Ursula his wife baptised.
1624 Decebr 24 Henry Scott was buried.

  Ursula, daughter of Henry Scott, of Rattlesden. The will of Henry Scott, dated September 24, 1624, was proved in the arch-deaconry of Sudbury, January 10, following, and he was buried in Rattlesden, December 24, 1624. The will mentions Abigail, Henry, Elizabeth and Richard Kimball, his grandchildren, who were the children of Henry and Ursula (Scott) Kimball; also his wife Martha and sons Roger and Thomas Scott. . .
